2008 Yard of the Month!! lol

Chris & I did up my pot garden today. This is the second year that I have planted a garden.

We expanded this year. We have cherry tomato's, regular tomato's, green & red bell peppers, & cucumbers. And of course LOTS of Gerber Daisies & Sweet Potato vine.

The wheel barrel will be moved to my front porch. (it started raining right when we were finishing up)

Camping trip 2008

Chris, Jacob and the guys left Thursday afternoon to set up. Garrett, Michael & I came up Friday after school. (Jenn stayed home.) Was pretty nice here in town and when we showed up on the mountain, we had to change into warmer clothes. We had a lot of fun and none of us was ready to come home. (well Chasity was ready to some home. She's 32 weeks pregnant) Point Mountain was were we went. Very high up!! lol

The stars were very bright and looks like we could touch them. Very chilly when the sun went down. Fri high 30's, Sat low 40's and Sun low 50's.

We did alot of eating, 4 wheeling, eating, shooting guns, eating, fishing, yep you guessed it eating!!! lol Oh wait can't forget about a little drinking.

30 Minute Thursday

I was asked to do Scrapfriendzy 30 Minute Thursday challenge. Very excited about coming up with one.

Here is the challenge:

Put away those pattern papers and pull out your cardstock and punches!!Here's Your Challenge:Create layout only using cardstock. (any color) Title and embellishments must be out of cardstock. Buttons, brads and eyelets can be used to embellish your cardstock embellishments.Here is one that I have done. I hand cut the scallop edge and used a flower punch. I cut out the big flowers and letters from my Cricut.

Weekend update

Sad news

Chris's grandma passed away Saturday May 3, 2008. Chris stopped in Ohio to visit her (she fell last month and fractured her pelvis) in the nursing home on Saturday. He was on his way home from being in WI for 2 weeks. I'm glad he was able to see her before she passed. I told him that she was waiting for his visit. (no one knew he was coming to visit) She was a wonderful lady, always made you laugh. She will be greatly missed. RIP Grandma!
We love and miss you much.
