Scrapstreet Holiday Ho Down

Boy has this been a busy 2 weeks for me. SS just finished up with their Holiday Ho Down. Challenges posted everyday. Lots of fun projects, layouts and cards were made. Everyone did an awesome job on it all.

I was the lucky winner and so excited about the prizes.

I also met Jennie on a yahoo group a few years ago and was lucky enough to meet her in person. And to top that off as soon as she stepped off the plane and we met for the first time... we went on a week long road trip together!!! (and had the best time!!) Thank you Jennie for not listening to my mother and agreed to that trip! LMBO By the way... it's time for another road trip!

Kansas was the main act for Mountain Fest 2008.
They played alot of older songs that they put out, played other group songs and of course the big hit was when they play "Dust in the Wind."

Hot Air Balloon

Chris & I got to have a short ride in a hot air balloon. It was tied down, but we still went up high enough to say "holy wow"!!! This is something I would love to do without being tied down.

Mountain Fest 2008

Chris and I have been going to Mountain Fest these past couple days. We've got to sit and listen to some really good bands and a couple really bad bands. lol The weather has been perfect, (my shoulders are burned!!) the drinks have been cold and more still to come.

Here's a few pictures so far. Hope to have more tonight. Kansas plays tonight!!! Biker & Biker Bitch!! lol One crazy kid on a motorcycle!!

It's finally Tuesday

I've been waiting for this day to come for a month. Chris comes home!!!!
Everything was going well and I get a phone call telling me that his flight from TX to Pitts has been cancealed!! UGH I also got a phone call from the airlines telling me that he won't be flying out until tomorrow! NOOOOOO
Finally got a hold of Chris and he was in WI but... he had to change his ticket because by the time they got in they didn't have enough time to catch his next flight. He was supposed to by here in our house around 7:30 PM and now with all the changes he will not be home until closer to 1 AM!! I'm so ready for him to get home!!!!
Sitting here watching the clock and the time is not moving fast enough for me.
But... tomorrow is our 20th Anniversary (our church wedding, Monday was also our anniversary. That was the day we were married by the Germans) and have made plans on going out celebrating our special day and also this weekend is Mountain Fest. So we'll be hopping on our harley and have some fun there. Saturday we will be going to see Kansas in concert. This time I'll be taking my camera and will post pictures of our fun days.

Feel better now that I got to vent a little. :)

Happy Birthday Baby Ava!!!

Baby Ava was born last night July 15, 2008 @ 6:15 PM 6lb 15 oz and 20 inches long!!!

The cleaning bug...

has attacked my house!!! The 2 little ones went back to Ohio to Grandma's, so I thought I would take advantage of it and get my house clean. When I say clean I MEAN CLEAN!!! Not just your normal everyday picking up. I'm moving things, getting on my hands and knees and throwing things away!! My livingroom is done and I have to say... it looks bigger!!! haha I'm working on the kitchen today and looks like tomorrow. Starting to look good!! :)

So this means no scrapping or much computer time this week. I have a sketch from Creatively Yours sitting on my desk with the pictures printed off and everytime I walk by my desk it's screaming for me to sit and scrap. So... you never know I just may cave and do this awesome sketch!!! :)

Ok back to my kitchen for a bit before I hit the sack.

Finally home!

We finally made it back to WV. It was a long drive, stuck in traffic. BLEK It took over an hour to move 4 miles!!!

I'm tired and going to call it a night.
